There’s a common phrase in therapy, “get out of your own head.” The premise being, you need a different perspective to help settle yourself. Take a moment, distract, focus on something else and this too shall pass.

So to help out with this process, we’ve created a blog space for this purpose. A place where clinicians can get creative, writing, musing and reflecting on psychological content, in a way that young people can engage with in their own time. These pieces are designed to spark new thinking, encourage reflection or simply… to make you stop thinking about texting your ex.
